Welcome to Dalarö Kajak in Sweden. The kayak rental is located in the southern part of the archipelago of Stockholm. Here it is possible to go kayaking in calm waters, but also to go further out in the beautiful nature of the outer part of the archipelago with proximity to Kymendö, Fjärdlång and Huvudskär.
With the kayak you can easily reach parts of the archipelago no one else can reach. You experience the nature and the bird life there a close distance. You might have the chance to see a sea buckthorn or a seal!
Rented a kayak in late season (end of August) and was very happy with this rental place. We hired a two person sea kayak for 24 hours (1 night) for a good price. No deposit was needed and the paperwork was simple. Kind guy gave us some instructions and tips how to pack our stuff onto the kayak and where it was nice to camp with the tent. The kayak was of great quality and the surroundings were amazing to paddle around. Definitely recommended!
The price for a double kayak half day is 600SEK, which is a good deal in my opinion! The staff was very friendly and the equipment was clean and in good condition. They’ll help you plan a route (if you want) and give you a map (though I would recommend you take your phone for Google maps with you, we didn’t have good weather and couldn’t see very far). The location is wonderful for kayaking with all the small island around, would definitely love to come back 🙂
We spent 3 days completely out of time, choosing to kayak-bivouac with equipment from Dalarö Kajak. Mats welcomed us warmly and gave us very clear explanations, but also advice on places to see, and with a smile. The equipment is of excellent quality, particularly the kayak which is very stable and has numerous waterproof storage spaces. Ideal for a nature and adventure getaway, alone, in pairs or with more. Finally: thanks to Daniel for his responsiveness by email during the preparation of the trip. In short: it’s flawless! Tacktack 🙂
Had a great 5 day kajaking experience in the archipelago. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the booking, planning of the route and all the questions we had. The kajaks were new and perfect for our plans and the nature in the archipelago is awesome!
If you want to have some great outdoor experience in Dalarö, Dalarö kayak is certainly a good option. Very friendly staff, very good equipment and beautiful landscapes to explore. Perfect for at least half a day of outdoor activity.
Very nice experience! Spending a night in the Archipielago should be mandatory. Really good kayaks. They provide almost all you need, but the only drawbacks were the tent and sleeping bag, as they were a bit dirty and not in the best condition.
Dalarö Kajak is one of Stockholm archipelago’s largest kayak rentals. The surroundings are magically beautiful and a paradise for kayakers with all its islands, islets and exciting passages. There are also lots of uninhabited small islands that you can both kayak around or stay and spend the night at.
When you rent kayaks from us we will help you with proposals of nice tours. If you need a tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bags or Trangia stove it is possible to rent it from us. We are open from May until September, but always contact us and check the availability before you come!
